Speaker Information

The 2011 JAMS Technical Review meeting will be held in conjunction with AA&S 2011, the Aircraft Airworthiness & Sustainment Conference. This partnership minimizes travel to both meetings and provides the opportunity for JAMS and AA&S attendees to interact with and attend presentations for both organizations. JAMS presenters who wish to attend the AA&S conference must complete a separate registration process and pay the $725 fee.

JAMS Registration
There
is no registration fee for the JAMS meeting. Each presenter is required to register using the form on the  JAMS 2011 website.  

Paper Requirements
Presentation papers are due March 30. Papers are to be of conference/journal quality with results presented. They will be posted on the JAMS website.

Presentation Requirements
Presentations are due March 30. The JAMS template is available here. Presentation slots are 30 minutes long, but please remember to allow time for questions and feedback from attendees. All presentations at the conference will utilize an LCD projection and computer with PowerPoint installed. Use of personal laptops for presentation is not acceptable.

Speakers’ Breakfasts
Presenters are strongly encouraged to attend the Speakers’ Breakfast on the morning/s of their presentations. The breakfasts are scheduled for 7:00 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday. in Room 410 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. These meetings will allow you to get together with the other speakers in your Session as well as your Session Chair. Last minute details will also be finalized and the audio-visual technician will be available to go over the audio-visual procedures.

Agenda
A detailed agenda is available on the JAMS 2011 website.  The meeting will begin the afternoon of Wednesday April 20 and will conclude around 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 21. Each day there will be one morning and one afternoon break, 30 minutes each, as well as a continental breakfast to be held in the Exhibit Hall.

Conference Attire
Speakers - Business attire, or military service dress
Attendees - Business casual for all meeting sessions and social events
Civilian - Business casual for all meeting sessions and social events
Military - Class B uniform as directed by organization policy

Hotel
A block of rooms is reserved for JAMS and AA&S conference attendees at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The hotel reservation cut-off date is March 28.
