The 2011 Joint Advanced Materials and
Structures (JAMS) Technical Review will be held April 20-21 in San
Diego, California in conjunction with the 2011 Aircraft Airworthiness & Sustainment Conference. The 2011 meeting is the seventh
annual technical peer review of the research progress for JAMS, whose
co-lead institutions are the Center of Excellence for Composites and Advanced Materials (CECAM) led by Wichita State University and the Center of Excellence for Advanced Materials in Transport Aircraft Structures (AMTAS) led by the University of Washington. The goal of the JAMS Technical Review is
to inform regulators, industry and academia on current research
projects conducted by the center and to gain feedback that will help
drive future JAMS research and training developments. The annual technical meetings are one of
the major methods that regulators, industry and academia use to share
ideas about current industry needs. Anyone interested in supporting
these initiatives is encouraged to attend the upcoming technical
meeting.
Those who plan to attend both the JAMS 2011
Technical Reviews and AA&S 2011 will need to register separately for
each conference.
