CAD/CAM

The CAD/CAM lab directly provides industry professionals with the education they need to do their job effectively.

It offers the latest in CATIA education and technical support for computer-aided design and manufacturing. It offers CATIA courses five times a year, which carry engineering academic credit.

Through these courses people gain the knowledge to work on our airplanes, boats, cars and tools. The CAD/CAM lab is open to anyone wanting to further his or her education in computer-aided design and manufacturing, but the majority of its work concentrates on educating the employees of the major aircraft companies in Wichita so that they can take that knowledge and apply it to their particular fields of interest.
