Nondestructive Testing Services
The Aging Aircraft Lab offers services including Close Visual Inspection, Fluorescent Liquid Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Bolt Hole Eddy Current Inspection, Surface Scan Eddy Current Inspection, Magneto Optic Imaging and Ultrasonic Inspection.

Oil Analysis Lab
The Oil Analysis Lab provides test kits for Trivector Analysis, Infrared Spectroscopy, Particle Count/Shape Recognition, Elemental Analysis and Viscosity Tests.

NDT Training
NIAR offers NDT training through a partnership with the National Center for Aviation Training and Wichita Area Technical College (WATC). Courses are developed and taught by NIAR personnel, with accreditation from WATC. All NDT courses meet from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. for one week. NDT degree and certificate options include Associate of Applied Science; Technical Certificate; Certificate of Completion: Industrial Radiographer; Certificate of Completion: Ultrasonic Technician.
